The historical centre of Heraklion, with shops dating back centuries, dozens of little traditional 'meze' places and coffee shops, and some of the most commercial streets in Crete, is definitely worth visiting. The Minoan Palace of Knossos and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum are must-see places while in Heraklion, as are the award-winning traditional village of Archanes and Myrtia Village, the birthplace of Nikos Kazantzakis, where the museum dedicated to the world-famous writer is located.
RETHYMNON
The colourful architectural gem of Crete
Rethymnon Region is home to countless unspoiled villages, towns, beaches, monasteries and archaeological sites. Traditional and colourful, Rethymnon is one of the most beautiful historical towns of Crete, where you can see some of the most important buildings and monuments of the island. Its fabulous castle, Venetian houses, cobblestone streets and fountains are some of the town's trademarks. Enjoy your coffee at one of the historic centre's many little lounges and cafés, looking at people passing by.

CHANIA
Exotic sandy beaches and stunning gorges
Chania boasts some of Crete's most spectacular beaches, such as Balos, Falasarna, Elafonisi and Kedrodasos. The world-famous Samaria Gorge is also located in Chania Region, making it ideal for those who love to explore nature and discover its best gifts. The old town of Chania takes visitors by surprise with its fascinating blend of architecture and glorious history. Take a walk in the aristocratic neighbours of Halepa, Tabakaria, Kum Kapi and Neoria. Don't leave before you experience its vibrant nightlife at one of the many bars and restaurants along the promenade.
LASITHI
Spinalonga memories and tranquillity
Lasithi Region lies on the east side of Crete, and Agios Nikolaos is its centre. Elounda is known for its beautiful landscape and peaceful ambience. The island of Spinalonga, situated at the heart of Mirabello Bay, symbolises both the earlier and more recent history of Crete.
Plaka Village is one of the most picturesque seaside settlements, with incredible views of Spinalonga. Schisma Elounda, with its many elegant shops and restaurants along the beautiful little marina with colourful traditional boats, is ideal for a day tour you can organise from our resort in Hersonissos. If you love nature, a visit to Lasithi Plateau and a walk in the traditional village of Margarites are highly recommended.
SITIA
